Summit Labs voluntarily recalls Kore Organic tincture lot, batch

salazar

Kore Organic is issuing a voluntary recall for one batch and lot of its Kore Organic Watermelon CBD Oil Tincture. A sample of the 30-ml, 15 mg product was found to contain lead at level of 4.7 parts per million when tested by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, leading to the recall of Batch No. 730 Lot No. K018.

When Summit Labs tested the same lot and batch number at an accredited lab, lead results were 0.5 ppm, but the company said it was still going through with a recall based on the Florida agency’s results.

The company noted that anyone with a product from the affected lot and batch number should call Summit Labs at 833-810-5673 Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.EST or online at Koreorganic.com. The product should be returned for a full refund, and contact Summit Labs if it is denied for refund information.
