Charlotte’s Web profile highlights company’s strengths in CBD

salazar

Executives at Charlotte’s Web are optimistic about their position in the CBD market. That’s according to a new profile of the company at sister site Drug Store News.

The profile highlights the company’s growth from direct-to-consumer brand to CBD powerhouse that has undertaken various efforts that position it to succeed in the growing CBD opportunity at mass retail.

Even as it faces some industry-wide challenges with regulation, with the recent acquisition of Abacus Health Products under its belt, the company appears focused on future.

“Our immediate intentions are to clean up our product assortment to make our brands stronger,” CEO Deanie Elsner said. “Then we will springboard into new products. We have some terrific new products that we plan to introduce later this year and in 2021. We think they will help position us as the market leader.”
